Kelsey "Chloë" Sucena is an American photographer, writer, organizer, educator, and performer based in Western New York/Northern Appalachia. Her multidisciplinary practice merges DIY music sensibilities with critical image-text experiments, often through performative slideshows under the project Pale Horse. Her work challenges mainstream narratives surrounding trans* life and centers the voices of queer and trans* people, particularly in the face of escalating political repression.
